Richard
Ward - Gold Star Salons Hair Ambassador 2007
Richard is thrilled to be the
Gold Star Salons Hair Ambassador 2007!
With exquisite cutting skills and
a charming personality, Richard Ward is renowned
for cornering the celebrity market and taking
luxury hairdressing to the next level. His uber-cool
Sloane Square salon, Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa,
was the first to offer a unique zoned approach
to the typical hair and beauty appointment and
the spectacular 5,000 square foot salon was voted
Hair Magazine's London Salon of the Year in 2006,
just a year after opening.
Richard's huge consumer media profile
has dubbed him King of the TV Makeover, with his
hair magic transforming men and women as resident
hairdresser for Trinny & Susannah throughout
their What Not to Wear shows on BBC and now on
Trinny & Susannah Undress. He was also the
hair expert for the 2007 LK Today's Top Model
regional roadshow competition, with more resident
and expert appearances in the pipeline for the
programme. Appearances on GMTV, This Morning,
Chantelle's Dream Dates, Extreme Makeover and
Make me Perfect have cemented his place as media
darling of the hair industry; and Richard's own
life has also been the subject of an hour long
documentary Trouble at the Top (BBC).
Richard is a favourite of the British
Press and writes regular columns for a host of
consumer magazines. Be it session makeovers, quotes,
tips, interviews or trend predictions, Richard
is regularly called upon for his comments on celebrity
hair and hair health. His stunning hair collections
are also regularly published in a variety of national
and international publications.
"Richard is a perfect
role-model and spokeperson for Gold Star Salons.
He epitomises our quality approach. He's high-end,
yet down to earth and, above all, through his
media profile has helped tens of thousands of
clients to a better understanding that a great
hair day makes all the difference, especially
after you've visited a quality salon." Sean
Dawson, Fellowship President
